HAK’s National Gender Violence report for period 2013 – 2017 reveals that women and girls bear the brunt of domestic related violence. Up-to today they are the target for perpetrators, yet they continue to suffer in silence.
In 5 years, the HAK team supported 19,590 survivors provides online GBV education, Tele-Counseling/guidance and coordinated rescue missions. Quick referrals to other ideal service providers was carried out. A total of 1,313 children were defiled while 583 women were raped. This is a worrying trend.
